Discussion Group

We hold our monthly discussion group meeting on the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the room 302 at the Central United Methodist Church. These meetings cover a particular theme or topic that has been announced in advance by email as a well as a posting on the club calendar. In most sessions several members will talk about the topic and often will show some of their own work to demonstrate relevant ideas and techniques. Although there may be a leader or moderator with some experience or expertise in the topic, the primary goal of the discussion group meetings is to provide a forum for sharing of information and knowledge among our members.
The meetings may include both discussions and demonstrations depending on the topic and the interests of the participants. We want these sessions to appeal to all of our members, ranging from very experienced to beginning photographers. The informal and interactive format of the meeting allows everyone to ask the other participants any questions they may have. Check the Club Calendar for specific dates and topics.
